Though Phi Lamb has been around for more than 50 years now, the PLPAA is still a very young organization. As with any new organization, I can honestly say we’ve had our share of successes, as well as some growing pains.As we go forward we are striving to enhance and improve your alumni association. With that said I would like to open up a discussion about how we can improve and progress the PLPAA.
Not only am I looking for your ideas, I’m also hoping that as you offer topics for discussion and suggestions to solutions of your concerns, you may also consider getting involved, helping to implement your suggestons and bring them to fruition.
The first topic I would like to open up to discussion is regarding PLPAA membership. Discussion is welcome concerning what you would be interested in seeing in our organization, what might influence you to join, dues structure, etc..
I look forward to hearing from all of you.

Here are a few thoughts that I have:
1. Sisters need to see what is in it for them, if they join. Some kind of perk, like a reduced reunion cost, a free gift, a chance in a lottery type thing, where they could win a very nice memento..e.g. a silver charm of Phi Lamb. I know we did reduced cost on items and that is a good start. Maybe ideas will come.
2. I feel the sisters need to know more of what the dues is spent on and the state of finances. 5% seems a small amount for repairs. Some of my era feel it is a lost cause and we need to change their mind.
3. I think you would get many more members if the dues was lowered to , say $25 or $30 . At the reunion, we could have a membership table going with a poster telling some of this. Perhaps first or second year alumni and sisters over 60 could get a discount and keep the rest high. I think you would triple the membership if the dues were half.
4. Somehow remind sisters about voting beside the one Phi Times.
