Must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50.

Phi Lambda Phi maintains a strict, zero-tolerance policy regarding hazing. We believe that true sisterhood is built on empowerment, mutual respect, trust, and mentorship. Phi Lambda Phi follows the SUNY Oswego Lakers Against Hazing Policy, which states:
Student groups, organizations, and athletic teams are an integral component of campus life. At all times, participants in University programs and activities are expected to act in accordance with the Code of Conduct and treat others with respect. Hazing can happen in any organization and is not limited to fraternities and sororities. In all forms, hazing is abusive, degrading, psychologically damaging, often life-threatening, and has no place within the SUNY Oswego community. The University takes every report of hazing seriously. We will investigate all complaints thoroughly and vigorously to ensure all students are treated with fairness and dignity. Those found responsible for committing, soliciting, encouraging, directing, aiding, or recklessly permitting hazing to occur will be subject to disciplinary action. Sanctions may range from educational outcomes to suspension or expulsion.
For more information visit the SUNY Oswego website.

Phi Lambda Phi stands on the pillars of Friendship, Loyalty, Responsibility, and Happiness. When you join Phi Lamb, you aren't just joining a campus organization; you are entering a network of driven, passionate women who support each other's personal, academic, and professional goals.
Friendship is the cornerstone of our sisterhood. We celebrate each other's victories, provide comfort during challenges, and inspire one another to achieve our highest personal, academic, and professional goals. Phi Lambda Phi prides itself in encouraging diversity among its members, so we may learn from each other and work to create stronger bonds.
When you join Phi Lamb, you are forging unbreakable relationships that extend far beyond your university years, creating memories and connections that will last a lifetime.
Loyalty is an unwavering commitment to our sisters and our shared values. It goes beyond simply being there; it is a promise to stand by one another through every season of life. We will always support each other, protect the trust within our chapter, and remain true to the ideals that brought us together.
This steadfast allegiance ensures that our sisterhood remains a safe, dependable, and empowering space for every member, both during their time on campus and for the rest of their lives
Responsibility comes in many forms, through commitment to one's academics, community, and oneself.
Phi Lambda Phi boasts an impressive chapter GPA of ### and spent ### hours last year giving back to their local community and philathropy, the Oswego public library. In 2026, Phi Lamb received the Helping Hands award from SUNY Oswego in recognition of its members' commitment to giving back.
Phi Lambda Phi is all about fun. From our monthly sister bonding activities to our late-night study sessions, we believe that true fulfillment comes from surrounding yourself with positive, encouraging women who celebrate your individuality and help you shine.
Joining our chapter means choosing a community that prioritizes your well-being, radiates positivity, and ensures that your college journey is filled with laughter, purpose, and unforgettable moments of joy.
Rush is a week-long series of casual, themed events designed for you to meet the sisters of Phi Lambda Phi, ask questions, and see if our sisterhood feels like home to you. All rush events are held on campus.
To be considered for a bid (a formal invitation to join), we recommend attending at least one of our two rush events.
There are no financial commitments for rush, we only ask you show up ready for fun!
Transparency is important to us. Being a member of Phi Lambda Phi does require financial dues of $250 per year to cover chapter operations, social events, and philanthropy. As a local sorority, the members of Phi Lamb are not required to pay any national dues.
If you accept a bid, you will enter our New Member Education program. This period lasts approximately 6 to 8 weeks and is designed to teach you the history, values, and traditions of Phi Lambda Phi, while helping you bond deeply with current sisters, alumnae, and fellow new members. You will be paired with a "Big Sister" to mentor and support you through the process, culminating in your formal initiation into our sisterhood.
